Eau Claire, Wisconsin's independent insurance agency, striving to serve our clients, staff, and company associates with honesty, integrity, accountability and trust. Now serving the Hayward/Spooner, Wisconsin area!

Our History
American Insurance Services is a full service, independent insurance agency dedicated to serving the needs of our clients with honesty and integrity. The agency was started by Jim Klabough and Jack Keegan over 25 years ago. Later, Jim purchased the agency from Jack and was the sole owner.

In May 2004, Jim sold the agency to MHT LLC and our building was remodeled to add more office space for future expansion; the expansion came quickly! In January 2005, The Jackson Agency was purchased from J Kevin Johnson, moving them from their location on Eau Claire Street to our current location at 615 South Barstow Street, and merging the two agencies together.
